After a successful first round of fiddle workshops, it’s time to announce round two for the fall! OLDTIME FIDDLE, YAY!! I enjoy giving an opportunity for fiddlers to play and learn in a group setting and meet new fiddle friends. Camps are the best place to get this, but we don't always have time or access to such luxuries.

Schedule:

2:00 Warm up and learn a new tune
3:00 Cookie and tea break
3:30 Technique and concepts talk followed by group jam
5:00 End of Workshop, optional dinner out of the town of Lyons, listening to some local live music at Oskar Blues or the Fork.

Beginning level workshop: September 1 "How to enjoy oldtime as a beginner"
Intermediate level workshop: September 8 "Group playing, how to learn tunes by ear faster "
Advanced level workshop: September 15 "Get that oldtime bow a rockin’!"

Cost is $45, to be paid upon arrival.
